It's funny how when I look at old family photos
And I see your face I see a smile
A smile
That is pasted on a face of a liar
We look happy
We look right
When in the end it was nothing but wrong
I wish I had a pair of scissor so I could cut you out of those photos
So when I look at it again the only smiling faces I see
Are true and not lies
But you ruined them
Destroyed my photos
And now all I have left
Is cut up scrap
That no one wants
So now I have to burn them
And hopefully when the flames consume the jagged edges
It will sooth my already cut up
Heart
That didn't need to be broken in the first place
And I see your face I see a smile
A smile
That is pasted on a face of a liar
We look happy

Darkn3ss
Reaching out for you
only to find a pillow filled with tears.
Where have you gone?
Silences fill the room as I breathe in.
I close my eyes and see the darkness
its coming over me.
The moon hides itself in fear
And the sun pushes through.
I open my eyes.
I see nothing. I feel nothing.
How much longer do I have?
til I break down
things here aren't right
I can't take the fight….
I feel lost
and the only thing that brings me back
is the hint of a smile in your voice.
Makes me remember what Im here for.
I live for you, I cry for you and I would die for you.
All in one day.... if I could just be with you.

Song of the Seasons
The girl who talked for days on end
Has collapsed around the bend
In a muddled pile
Out of the way
While her eyes sang songs of Summer,
Her heart was in Winter’s hold.
Her lips looked the red of Autumn
And her hair Spring’s spun gold.
A happy girl was she indeed
Helping everyone in need
To make them smile
And make them forget
And while her words sang songs of Summer,
Her heart was in Winter’s hold.
Her mind was well in Autumn,
But her thoughts Spring’s spun gold.
Still she left them all alone;
Finally returned back home
Where she is safe
Forevermore
Now she will forever sing songs of Summer,
Though she is Winter

Boulevard
I never knew that it would go this far.
Closing all the shop windows, rolling up the awnings.
The wide street barren and waiting for the on-coming storm.
The city thrumming with anticipation,
As we step out into the coming darkness,
and the street lamps blink on.
