Play to Win
The gun sounds off and then we’re off
To the finish line is our goal
But honey, I want to mention something
This race is going to be something to behold
The stakes are high.
Bets are placed
On us dear.
But don’t fret, it’s not too late.
They all laughed and told us it was hopeless
We will lose for sure
But they don’t know dear
The strides I will make when the prize
Means so much more
Than their ideals and standards
They shouldn’t have bet
They shouldn’t have laughed
They couldn’t have known
When their bets were thrown
That I always play to win…

FFM28 - Alliance
“Let me get this straight,” Sadi began, glaring at the fae present. “You want to work with them? Instead of getting paid?”
Ace nodded. “I found out why they started the Rebellion, love,” he said seriously. “It’s not pretty. We’ll have to head back, get Poly and Maria. Convince them to help. I don’t want to be on Poly’s bad side.”
“‘Get on my bad side’?” croaked a voice from behind him. Ace whirled around, blinking at the sight of Maria standing awkwardly beside Shade, a crow perched on her shoulder. The crow huffed and ruffled its fea

Darkn3ss
Reaching out for you
only to find a pillow filled with tears.
Where have you gone?
Silences fill the room as I breathe in.
I close my eyes and see the darkness
its coming over me.
The moon hides itself in fear
And the sun pushes through.
I open my eyes.
I see nothing. I feel nothing.
How much longer do I have?
til I break down
things here aren't right
I can't take the fight….
I feel lost
and the only thing that brings me back
is the hint of a smile in your voice.
Makes me remember what Im here for.
I live for you, I cry for you and I would die for you.
All in one day.... if I could just be with you.
As night falls b

Song of the Seasons
The girl who talked for days on end
Has collapsed around the bend
In a muddled pile
Out of the way
While her eyes sang songs of Summer,
Her heart was in Winter’s hold.
Her lips looked the red of Autumn
And her hair Spring’s spun gold.
A happy girl was she indeed
Helping everyone in need
To make them smile
And make them forget
And while her words sang songs of Summer,
Her heart was in Winter’s hold.
Her mind was well in Autumn,
But her thoughts Spring’s spun gold.
Still she left them all alone;
Finally returned back home
Where she is safe
Forevermore
Now she will forever sing songs of Summer,
Though she is Winter
