Miss Nobody `
Seen but never heard
She is slowly sweetly dying in a case of ice
Closed off from the rest of the world
She paints on her face
Hoping to get by with this façade
But now its all falling apart
She will be left in the dark
For centuries
For decades
They will search for her heart
But mourning was meant for the lonely
And not once has anyone cared
For Miss Nobody
There was never anyone there
Her tears have all frozen along with the sound of her cries
Those sorrow filled nights have become nothing but a lie
So when they finally find her
Surrounded by shards of her heart
They will stop to think about their actions
How scorning her has blown her apart
Maybe one day while they are looking for meaning to their sad little lives
Someone will remember why
Miss Nobody is no longer alive

Ace nodded. “I found out why they started the Rebellion, love,” he said seriously. “It’s not pretty. We’ll have to head back, get Poly and Maria. Convince them to help. I don’t want to be on Poly’s bad side.”
“‘Get on my bad side’?” croaked a voice from behind him. Ace whirled around, blinking at the sight of Maria standing awkwardly beside Shade, a crow perched on her shoulder. The crow huffed and ruffled its fea

I never knew that it would go this far.
Closing all the shop windows, rolling up the awnings.
The wide street barren and waiting for the on-coming storm.
The city thrumming with anticipation,
As we step out into the coming darkness,
and the street lamps blink on.

I love dark poetry (mainly because I write angsty stuff) and I think
you captured the emotions of this female really well. She's someone
who has been turned away and forgotten, and essentially, loses herself
in her sorrow until it overwhelms her. Nicely written and with a deep
meaning.
